March President’s Message
Dear NNL girlfriends,
After giving it some thought, I decided there should be a “perk” now and then for being President…besides the fun of arranging team meetings ,preparing agendas and writing this monthly letter!!! So, I came up with the idea (after having read so many English historical novels) that I would make a PROCLAMATION! And the proclamation will be that …”MARCH IS MEMBERSHIP MONTH”!!!
So, now that I’ve made the proclamation, I better explain myself. I will offer a reward (back to those English historical novels) to the member who brings in the most NEW members to our club during the month of March. I’ll offer the winning member a $25.00 gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice. In case of a tie, names will be put in a basket and the winner picked at our April luncheon. So, gals, go forth into the Johnson County kingdom and instead of slaying the enemy (English historical novels once again) seek out new friends that will benefit from our club and all that we have to offer them. Our club is truly a “King’s ransom” full of fun activities, a royal chest full of treasures!
I would also like to bring up the charitable donation issue once again…remember…do we want to share a bit of our good fortune with a local charity? If so, please email /call your suggestions to me so I can present them at our next leadership team meeting.
